Chosen for its lightness and its modularity, one year after another, USM equiped one by one the various workshops areas. Because of Its versatility… The furniture becomes an exhibition material on the occasion of the presentations of the student works at the end of the year.
A specially designed design by USM (opposite) makes it possible to present the garments made by the students of the fashion workshop. In the computer room, shelves and pieces of furniture were sized to fit the chosen material. In the sewing room, the hinged doors of the USM furniture are sturdy, turning into a work surface supporting the sewing machines.
The Duperré School was founded in 1864 to train young girls in sewing. 150 years later, the high School of Applied Arts Duperré is one of the most renowned for the training of designers in fashion and textiles.
